Golden Hour Photo Shoot

As a Tampa-based photographer, I've had the pleasure of capturing many wonderful family portraits, but my recent golden hour photo shoot with this family of four was extra special. Not only was it my first full family photo session in Florida since moving from the Garden State, but it was also held in the enchanting Edward Medard Conservation Park in Plant City.

Walking through the forest of oak trees with their roots above ground, it felt like we had stepped into a fairytale. The Spanish moss glowed as we basked in the golden hour, creating a magical ambiance that added a touch of wonder to the already stunning scenery.

The Medard reservoir provided the perfect backdrop for the family, and the trees helped frame the photos in organic and unique ways. It was like Mother Nature herself was lending a hand to make the portraits even more breathtaking.

I love capturing natural light photography, and this session was no exception. The soft, warm glow of the sun added to the overall charm of the shoot, and it really helped me capture candid childhood memories. From the playful moments with the entire family to intimate moments between the parents, I was able to document every bit of love and joy that this family had to offer.
